Brand book · v1.0

The Socharkbrand system.

Everything needed to represent Sochark Technologies consistently: logo, color, type, graphic language, and voice. One source of truth.

01

Logo

SOCHARK.
SOCHARK.

The wordmark is set in Space Grotesk Bold with tight tracking and always ends with a period, the spark. On Ink, the period is Volt. On light surfaces, the whole mark switches to Ink. “Sochark” fuses “soch” (सोच), Nepali for thought, with “spark”; the period marks the moment a thought catches.

Do

  • Use the wordmark in Bone on Ink, or Ink on Bone / Volt
  • Always end the wordmark with the Volt period; it is the spark
  • Keep clearspace equal to the height of the 'S' on all sides
  • Minimum size: 24px tall on screen, 8mm in print

Don't

  • Don't recolor the wordmark outside the palette
  • Don't apply gradients, shadows, or outlines to the logo
  • Don't stretch, condense, or rotate the wordmark
  • Don't set the wordmark on busy photography without a scrim
02

Color palette

Ratio guide: roughly 70% Ink, 20% Bone, 7% Graphite, 3% Volt. Volt is an exclamation point, not a paragraph. One Volt moment per viewport. Hairlines use Bone at 12% opacity.

WHAT WE DO

04

Graphic language

The Spark ✦

A four-point star used as a separator and bullet. It represents the idea; 'soch' means thought. Always Volt or Bone.

Hairline grid

1px lines at 12% Bone opacity divide content. Borders, not boxes; the layout breathes through hairlines.

Outline type

Display words rendered as 1px stroked outlines create rhythm against solid type. Use for the second thought in a pair.

Film grain

A 5% noise texture overlays every surface, keeping large dark areas alive and tactile.

Volt glow

Soft radial Volt gradients at 15–20% opacity light key moments: hero and CTA only, never more than one per viewport.

05

Voice & tone

Confident, not arrogant

We state what we can do plainly. No hedging, no hype words like 'revolutionary' or 'cutting-edge'.

Plain-spoken

Short sentences. Concrete nouns. If a client's CFO can't understand it, rewrite it.

Quietly witty

A light touch of humor is welcome, like 'we stay after the launch confetti settles', but never sarcasm at the client's expense.

Transparent

'No black boxes' applies to our writing too. Name real tools, real timelines, real trade-offs.

Tagline: “Digital products that think.”
